Which channels does WAVE support today?+
WhatsApp is fully live with two engines (free QR-link and the official Cloud API). Instagram, Telegram, voice AI and email are on the near-term roadmap and will land in the same inbox.
Is the free plan really free?+
Yes. The Starter plan with the QR-link engine costs ₹0 — no card, no trial expiry. You only pay when you need more volume, team seats or AI features.
What is the difference between QR-Link and the Cloud API?+
QR-Link connects your existing number by scanning a code (like WhatsApp Web) — free and instant. The Cloud API is Meta's official business API — verified, template-based, and built for scale.
Can WhatsApp block my number?+
The QR-link engine is unofficial, so spammy behaviour can get a number flagged — keep volume human-like. For zero risk, use the official Cloud API engine; WAVE supports both and you can switch anytime.
How fast can I go live?+
About 2 minutes with QR-link: sign up, scan, done. The Cloud API takes ~30 minutes once including Meta setup and template approval.
What are AI agents?+
AI agents are GPT-class assistants you configure in plain language — a sales agent, support agent, or booking agent — that answer customers on your channels automatically and hand off to humans when needed.
Which AI models does WAVE use?+
WAVE is model-flexible — Gemini powers the first AI features, with support for other leading models planned so you can pick cost vs. capability.
Can I train the AI on my own content?+
Yes — that is Knowledge AI. Point WAVE at your website, menu, catalogue, PDFs or FAQs and answers are grounded in your actual content, with sources.
Does WAVE support voice calls?+
Voice AI (AI receptionist, call answering, transcripts and summaries) is on the roadmap. Today WAVE focuses on messaging.
Can my whole team use one inbox?+
Yes — Growth and above include team seats, with conversation assignment, internal notes and status tracking rolling out.
Is there a CRM built in?+
A lightweight CRM (contacts, pipeline, follow-up reminders) ships with the Pro plan so leads from conversations never fall through the cracks.
Can I send broadcasts and campaigns?+
Yes — upload or segment your audience and send campaigns with delivery analytics. On the official API, marketing messages use Meta-approved templates.
Do I need Meta-approved templates?+
Only on the Cloud API engine, and only for business-initiated messages. Replies within the 24-hour customer window and all QR-link messages are free-form.
Does WAVE integrate with e-commerce stores?+
Shopify and WooCommerce integrations (cart recovery, order updates, COD confirmation) are planned. Today you can integrate anything via the API and webhooks.
Can I white-label WAVE for my agency?+
Yes — the Enterprise plan offers white labelling: your domain, your logo, your billing, with sub-accounts for each of your clients.
Is there a developer API?+
Yes. A clean REST API (send messages, manage sessions, query stats) with key-based auth. SDKs and webhooks are expanding with the platform.
How is my data protected?+
Messages route through your own WhatsApp or Meta account; WAVE stores the minimum needed to operate. Credentials are encrypted, API access is key-gated, and TLS covers everything in transit.
Can I cancel anytime?+
